|
| Day 1 |
Arrival at Ioannina
airport and transportation to the traditional guesthouse
we have selected for you in Ioannina city. A welcome
dinner will follow in order to meet your
guides and be informed about the programs details |

| Day 2 |
Voidomatis
river
Voidomatis river in the Zagoria
region is the first river we'll start our program
with. We will attend a short course on how we should
paddle and behave in the raft boat and the safety
rules we should follow. The rafting activity takes
place in the clearest river
of Greece following its route in an amazing
gorge connecting the bridge located in Papingo
and the old stone bridge of
"Klljdonia" inside the National
Park. After this first rafting experience we'll
visit the abbey of "Spiliotissa"
and "Papingo"
in order to have a traditional lunch. In the afternoon
we return to Ioannina. |

Day 3

Arachthos
river
Today we will be transferred to the one-arc stone
bridge of "Plaka"
for this day's rafting in Arachthos
river. The department of river that we will
cross, with rapids II and III degree, takes place
in an open part of the river where green and impressive
rocks dominate the scene. After passing under an
impressive 15-metre waterfall, we will reach "Skoupa"
village located before the artificial lake "Pournariou".
Then we will be transported to the village "Katarraktis"
and the traditional guesthouse where we'll spend
the night. |

| Day 4 |
Arachthos river
An impressive route in the most beautiful part
of Arachthos river,
which follows the big ravine of river and leads
to a splendid gorge. This rafting begins from
"Tsibovo"
bridge with an impressive start as we pass from
the passage of "Sympligades"
IV degree, while it continues with consecutive
rapids till the end of the route. The waterfalls
we meet en route, the underground river of
"Klifki", the impressive nature
and one arc stone bridge of Plaka,
make this rafting a unique experience. In the
afternoon we will visit the traditional stone
made village of "Sjrako"
and will wander in its narrow cobbled streets.

| Day 5 |
Kalaritikos river
Today's rafting takes place in "Arachthos"
branch named "Kalaritikos",
inside an impressive gorge very similar to Arachthos
river gorge. A particularly technical river with
possessed passages, turns and rocks in a route
with astonishing beauty. Afterwards, we will visit
the village "Kararites".

| Day 6 |
Aherontas river
Today we'll visit the passes of "Aherontas
river", the gate
to the under world according to Greek Mythology.
We will explore this holy, for the ancient Greeks,
exceptionally beautiful location with hot-doc
(2 seat boats). As we are returning back we'll
visit "Aherontas"
necromancy and "Dodonis"
oracle.
